OE 5.0 Won't save settings

I am running Win2K with OE 5.0. My problem is that when I set Layout parameters, they only apply to one session. Anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

Maybe it is a policy issue. If possible, logon as Administrator and give yourself full user rights.
