This is an odd question. If anyone has any suggestions (I'm not expecting the exact solution), please let me know.
I have many applications that are currently running in Visual Foxpro 9.0. These applications were updated from Visual Foxpro 7.0 (and previously Windows 2.6 etc etc for 22 years).
At one installation of this software (Windows 2000) , when any form is opened (for the first time), the operator is prompted to insert the setup disk of another program (I believe that program is written in an earlier version of Foxpro-Continental Billing System for Windows). The problem occurs in the Visual Foxpro 9.0 version of my application. The Visual Foxpro 7.0 version DOES NOT have the problem.
The main difference in the forms (that I can think of) is the Visual Foxpro 9.0 version has the MAILBTN command button (available in Visual Foxpro 9.0) that allows the operator to e-mail the current record of the open file. I am assuming there may be a conflict here, but have not yet determined what the conflict is.
I distribute my application using Installshield 11 Express.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
