odd telnet error- SCO Unixware 7.?.?

I'm trying to finish tweaking a few new SCO boxes and whenver I try to telnet from one of my existing SCO boxes, I get teh following error(upon supplying the correct login/password):

Can anyone lend a little insight? I can ftp and ping, but not establish a telnet/rexec/rlogin session to save my life(it's nearly getting to that point too).

I've spent hours trying to make this work with no success. ANY leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The only match I find for your message indicates an install problem with defering permanent licensing during the initial install, if the install was after 2001.

If this is the problem, scoadmin license manager will show UW7's license expired 3/15/1990.
