Hi! The application I'm using displays a series of forms for the user to fill out. Sometimes, during the navigation process, from form to form, the following status message appears on the top of the screen prior to the data of the screen:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/4.0 Date: Thu, 08 Nov 2001 15:51:05 GMT Connection: close Content-type: text/html Page-Completion-Status: Normal Page-Completion-Status: Normal

When I refresh the page it goes away. Does anyone know why I get this and how to make it not appear? Thanks!

Where exactly are you seeing this. Do you have an address that we could look at?

I'm sorry, but no. I can't make it happen with any regularity. It appears on the top of the screen, before the page loads. The page loads fine, then.

If you are visiting an asp page it sounds to me like what you are seeing is part of the server script. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Looks like a glitch in IIS. It's showing you the http status message that the browser SHOULD be handling instead of displaying. There's a possiblity that duplicate or malformed status messages are being sent from IIS to the browser. You might want to check the MS web site to see if this is a known problem. Tracy Dryden
