Hi Folks!

We develop a VFP 8 application that links to a SQL Server database.

Within the data is a field that that has 4 DP precision (eg 1.1456). One of our clients is reporting that this field is being shown as rounded up to 2 DP and then padded with 0's, eg 1.1456 is being shown as 1.1500.

Their database on our test rig here shows the data correctly, and no other client of ours is having the issue.

I am thinking this may be a SQL Server issue but have no idea where to look?

Can anyone suggest anything?

TIA
Neil

I like work. It fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours...

Have you checked whether any of these commands and settings could affect the results? I do understand these usually affect just displayed results not the underlying values themselves, so they perhaps don't affect calculations or what is sent out...

SET DECIMALS (sets minimum decimals to display)
SET FIXED (sets whether to limit decimals to SET DECIMALS value)
SET SYSFORMATS (picks up user's Windows settings)
