we have a customer with a pri, all of their dids are working fine they all are 10 digits and begin with 8 no problem there

they are porting a toll free 800 number and it wont let me program the target line.

i have checked for conflicts and found nothing, and cant figure out where there would be a conflict considering all of their other dids start with 8 anyway

anyone see this before or know what i might be overlooking?

What are the dnis digits that the telco company is providing fo rthe 800 number?

Have you already programmed the number in another target line?

It may conflict with hunt groups or an unused sdn.

I checked the hunt groups

We are also the sip provider and are sending 10 digits

I have tried multiple target lines

What happens when you program a target line?

Where does the system stop accepting the data entry at?

It doesn't do anything until i tab out and then it says invalid

I'm not sure the exact code

what target line are you trying to program and what is the exact numbers you're trying to enter?

Are you trying to add a target line for a toll free number?
Example: DIGITS RECEIVED...8005551234

Yea

Does your current did numbers fall within 800XXXXXXX

Otherwise, 800 conflicts with something in the BCM.

You should do one of two things:
1) Have telco company point the 800 number to a local did so that it rings to an existing did in the bcm.

2) have telco company send DNIS digits to you BCM

It's not being sent to a local number we own the 800 number and we are sending it over that way

Then the Telco Co should be sending you DNIS DIGITS which need to be programmed into the target line.
