Odd question about audio 1

Not sure where to post this,
The CEO has a message on his voice mail he want's converted to an audio clip. What type of equipment do I need to record a voice mail onto a CD? Thanks!

I did this once.

I plugged in a microphone to my machine's sound card, taped the microphone head to the earpiece of a telephone handset, called the voicemail system, then used whatever software comes with Windows NT to record the message to a .WAV file.
