Hey

Can somebody tell me what does these lines in /usr/adm/syslog mean and do i have to do something to get rid of them?

Mar 15 13:10:38 krylih telnetd[24271]: unable to write terminal control database entry for line ttyp0
Mar 17 07:55:13 krylih lockd[382]: term_nlm():
Mar 17 07:55:13 krylih lockd[382]: nlm lock server died! exiting.

ps. krylih is the name of the server

At first glance I would guess that ttyp0 does not have a valid entry in the /etc/ttytype file. This file defines the default terminal types for ports that may be used to connect to the server. ttyp0 is the first psuedo tty port, and is probably being accessed by a telnet session over tcp/ip, in this case by the user krylih. Do a man of ttytype for more info.
