I'm seeing an odd problem with items pinned to application jump lists in Windows 7. I have Excel pinned to the start menu. I've got two Excel spreadsheets that I want pinned to the jump list. For illustration, let's say I'm using sheet1.xlsx and sheet2.xlsx. I opened sheet1.xlsx and found it in the jump list under Excel. I right click it and select pin to this list. So far so good. I open sheet2.xlsx and do the same thing.
Now when I have sheet1.xlsx open, it shows in the jump list. If I open sheet2.xlsx, it shows in the jump list, but sheet1.xlsx does not. When I close sheet2.xlsx, sheet1.xlsx is back in the jump list alone.
Is there something that is causing this? Using Windows 7 64-bit and Office 2010.
