I need to migrate from and old storage enclosure to a newer "old" storage enclosure (legacy modernization). The system I need to change storage on is running 4.3.3.0.

Is it possible for me to configure the new file systems on the new enclosure with it connected up to an 5.3.0.0-03 system and and then move the new enclosure to the 4.3.3.0 system?

Unfortunately the system I need to upgrade doesn't have the down time window to do this migration properly and there isn't a spare 4.3.3.0 (I know it is not a good situation) for me to use.

Thanks ---

I don't see why not. As long as the file system is compatible with 433, configure it and export it, then import on the 433 machine.
