odd issue last night

I am running IE8 and last night and had an odd issue that started at 7:30 pm. When I came in the office this morning a fellow coworker stated they too had the same odd error.

Internet Explorer displayed a meesage stating that it had issues and would need to be closed while a solution was found.

I tried restarting IE8 and got the same message over and over. I rebooted my machine and revieced the same error.

I launched Firefox and was fine on the internet, but needless to say I had an IE8 hic-cup.

This morning prior to coming to work I was using my IE8 with no issues. Whatever it was looking for to fix itself it found.

How do I determine what was wrong, what the fix was? Did anyone else expirience the same symptoms?

no updates waiting, applied... nothing... today all has been fine... no issues, no updates applied today either... anomoly!

Anything in Event Viewer? Note that when I talk about softare updated I include antivirus, plugins and so far.

Same thing happens with no add-ons mode?

Could be a bad script on the page crashing the browser.
