Odd issue but not detramental

Has anyone had any problems with winxp causing movies or games to run in "fast foward"? I mean when you hear and watch a video or play a game it is like it is in
"fast foward". Rebooting clears it up and it is not consistant but was wondering about it.

I've never had it happen, if anything I would think it has some lag time before doing such a thing. Does it stall before doing this? Jay
