Odd Hover Buttons

I have maintained a site with frontpage for several years(2002)
Recently my hover buttons have behaved oddly.
If I open up my site on my pc the buttons work OK
However if I view the site on the web, they do not..
This is a recent event, last week it worked.
I have updated ie7
Any ideas

Can you check with IE6 or Firefox on another machine to see whether it still works?

I'm on a Unix system at the moment so I can't check. Does your site rely on animate.js? This is the one file that keeps on changing with every new release for FrontPage, possibly so that it can cope with the newer browsers.

Have not found the answer, however I have got rid of the hover buttons and created my own, which works fine.
