Hi All,
When I remote into my work pc from home and go into access, I'm having a problem with the screen repainting, rendering or whatever word you want to use. I actually have to drag my mouse from top to bottom for the full screen to be able to see the words. This happens after every mouse click or if I go from design to forms display. Work said to mark use all my monitors (2 at work, 1 at home) and it should clear it up. We use citrix to remote in. Any ideas anyone? It is really hampering my ability to work from home
thanks lhuffst

This sounds more like a remote desktop issue (likely related to bandwidth limitations or traffic congestion somewhere along the complete network path) than issues directly related to MS Access. I know I had times at a prior job where I worked on MS Access databases from home, remoting into my work PC. The colors would typically be off, the size of forms would be different, b/c of different resolutions at home and work, and so on. You can try changing your remote desktop settings within Citrix or maybe within Windows Remote Desktop (RDP) to see if you get any help there. I'd try turning off things like printer sharing, sound sharing, and anything else not necessary. Also check and see what speed it's detecting. If it's saying "dial up", it'll be really messing up the image quality.

But if you need more help, you might want to try searching for a forum directly related to the Citrix remote software or else perhaps this forum here:

Thanks for the info. I'll share this with the tech guys.
