Hi,

When i select calendar view in MS Project 2000, the default date shows as January 1990... I assumed that like MS Outlook this would use my PC's local settings and default to today's date, but this is obviously not the case.

Is there a setting to change the default date in calendar view to the current date?

Thanks in advance.

P2002 (maybe P2000)

Project | Project Information ... and change the start date.

It appears that the default start date for Calendar view is the project start date.

Thanks for the suggestion, however the info in Project | Project Information is as per the project details.

This is a weird one... oh and since my post, it's now defaulting to January 1985... Now my projects tend to over run, but not by 18 years!!
