Found an odd one out there - anyone with ideas?

Situation: 8X24 W/Flash. All CO calls handled by AA. No extention has Call-Forward-No-Answer set in Capabilities. Company has been using Portable DNs for years. All calls go to the correct mailbox when not answered after 4 rings.
Why?

Maybe it is looking at the transfer call back in the feature settings of the phone system. The AA transfers to phone then calls back call, but sends to mailbox instead of main AA greeting.
Try changing the number of rings for transfer callback.

Good Luck!!

If the auto attendant answers the call and they select an extension it will always go to the mailbox associated with that extension if the call is not answered. CFNA only works if the call is transferred by another extension, such as the operator. If the auto attendant answers and the extension they choose doesn't have a mailbox, an unanswered call goes to the General Mailbox.

Thanks for both suggestions.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's the transfer call back timer also. The digits were 'dialed' out of the AA. Then the timer kicks in and pulls it back to the voicemail. It 'sees' the last digits dialed and the mailbox associated with it. Plays the personal greeting. MRoberts

Phone Biz,
In this case not only do the calls go to the correct Mbox after no-answer from AA but they go to the correct Mbox when transfered from an extention (after zeroing out). I'll be returning to site next week and will be able to have a closer look then.
