I have nowhere else to turn, please, help me if you can with following.
We are HR dept and I am developing Access Reports for this dept. Back end is Oracle tables/views.

I have Oracle ODBC set up as:

DSN - DBPRD
Description - DBPRD_ORA
TNS Service Name - DBPRD.CoName.com
UserID - WELCOME

When testing connections - getting an error odbcad32.exe has encountered a problem and will be shot down.

What is the solution or work around or anything for this?
Is there anything I need to check?

My Tnsnames.ora file...does it have to be certain way?

Thanks

I found solution that did not work for me.

Installing the ODBC driver appears to default to creating a new Oracle home - one which doesn't work. Uninstall the driver and remove that home, then re-install the driver and select the existing Oracle home created by the ODAC installation and then ODBC seems to work.

I am posting it just for others maybe who can get it up and running.
