Hi,

I have an access database.
I want to link to tables in an oracle and informix database.
However, when i go to control panel, the icon for odbc does not exist.
I have a windows 2000 machine.
Do i need some disk or set of drivers for this?

Joe

Hi Joe,

Do you have install ODBC driver for Oracle? If you don't, you must install it on your machine. Also you must install a Net8 Client to connect a Oracle Database. You can find them on the Oracle CD. It's very simple to install and configure it.

Look for it in Control Panel/Administrative Tools.
