odbc sql server driver time out expired State ID:HYT00

I have this error message when user on my network try to logon on Nav 2009: ODBC error occured [Microsoft][ODBC SQL server Driver] timeout expired State ID: HYT00.



system:

windows server 2003

SQL server 2005.
why this made and how i solve
