I receive the above error msg, then followed by SQL Server error, while trying to perform a Print Preview in Crystal Reports. I am able to access the database in Design, Add fields, etc. but not during the Print. What does this mean? Also, is there a place where I can go to look up the these errors?

I also have this problem. An ex-colleague of mine gave me the solution that worked for them, but it didn't work for me - that was that V9 requires that a user name and password be set up on the database to allow access to the data, but is not required to see the database schema. V8 did not require this. However, I do not know how true this is as I still cannot connect.

We can at least look into it. Another on our team remembers prior customers having a similar issue and is contacting them. He are also looking into whether the device must be registered, similar in network authentification. Let you know if we succeed.

I got moved to a new location and began using the User DSN to make use of compiled reports (which they say won't work if you use File DSN's) and am now getting the error. When I was off-site and using the File DSN I never got the error. Anyone know why?
