Hi,
last week our DBA changed the password to a user account, which is used in an odbc user dsn connection (via control panel). Sad to say, the user could no longer use the application , as it could not connect to oracle - at the time, the DBA didn't know who/how the account was being used !
Thing is, how do we change the password for the connection ?
No-one here seems to know, so at the moment we are unable to change the password on a user account.
I created a similar cionnection on my computer and it let me use the connection even though I did not specify a password - how does it know ?
Is there some documentation that explains the working of dsn connections ?
MS (bless 'em) have seen fit to hide any they have behind MDAC,MFC C++ et al

thanks,
Graham
