ODBC On server and not on clients

Hi!

I'm writing a database that is using ODBC-connections. My questing is if there is any way to only use one ODBC-connection on the servern, and not install it on all the clients? I got the tips that I could use DECS, but I don't know exactly how it works.

A fast answer would be good...
 
Yes you can use DECS for the purpose. What DECS does is that it creates a One to One correspondence between the relational Database and the Lotus notes database with Field mapping. Once the fields are mapped, DECS can be set to automatically synchronize depending on what you have set.

Also I guess you can try using Server Run agents and creating a single DSN connection on the server to connect the agents to the other database.
