ODBC Map changed, how to change Linked Table to match

I have a linked table setup connected via ODBC. The source table's map has changed (a few field names have changed and a few fields added). How can I update my linked table short of removing it and recreating it. Any way to simply update the table so it recognizes the new map?

As far as I know you have to drop and re-add your table
