ODBC Linked Tables

Hi All

I have an Acc2000 DB with linked Oracle tables. I decided I needed to link an additional table from a different Oracle ODBC Database, but I get his error:

"Reserved error (-7748); there is no message for this error."

I know my ODBC is working as I can open the Oracle ODBC Test utility and run SQL against the table.

Any ideas why I am unable to link this new table?

there shouldnt be an issue that there are other connections to other oracle db's. i do it all the time. have you tried it in a blank/new db just to test that it's not somehow Access?

here are some articles i've found, tho i dont completely understand them. something in depth about the DSN configuration with some funky oracle set ups. you might want to talk to the oracle db admin for help too:
