ODBC Limitation?

Hi everyone,

Question on the ODBC driver.

I have an application created with powerbuilder 9.0.1. Which accesses our IQ warehouse DB using the ODBC driver.

We have serveral report windows, and they all qeury the DB (as you do), and with a "stop" button. however, this button only functions AFTER the query is executed. Fair enough, but what if the query takes 25min? So is it possible to stop the actual query before it finishes? I was reading in other groups that is is not possible. I do have the aysnc = 1 set in my registry.

Or is it possible?
