odbc installation in win2000

hi,
I' deleted de odbc from my computer (c:\winnt\system32 and from regedit). I installed odbc from sql server 6 instalator cd but now i can't find odbc link in the control panel/administrative tools.

Somebody have any idea how can i install the windows 2000 adbc version again? i tried to install from win2000 installation cd, but i dont' find. please help me.

Search for the 'odbcad32.exe' file. Probably in your windows system folder. Create a shortcut and place the shortcut in the the administrative tools folder.

That file is just an aplication to monitor and maintain your ODBC. I don't believe that it is actually part of the ODBC. I would try locating the file on your windows CD and copying it to your computer (however, this won't help your registry). If that doesn't work you may have to reinstall windows.
