ODBC.ini registery values (for performance optimisation)

Hey guys..

i was wondering if any one can help with this:

i am using an ODBC client access to connect to a DB/2 Database on an As400 machine , am having some performance issues because the ODBC link is little slow at the moment, is there any way to configure the ODBC setup in a way to improve its performance.

any help is greatly appreciated
