I receive an error message when I try to log into a database from our web application via a web browser. The webserver is in the dmz and has a PSQL2000i client installed with a datasource that connects to the DB server inside the firewall. The ports 1583 and 3351 are open and the connection test succeeds. If I reboot the web server it works the first time but as soon as I try the second time I receive the same error message.Any feedback on this problem would be appreciated.

[Pervasive][ODBC Client Interface][Client LNA]Your connection to the server is no longer working. To continue, disconnect from the data source and re-connect again. Contact your system administrator if you still need assistance

What happens if you try to connect to the server from another workstation? Do you see the error? What happens if you log into the web server and try to connect there? Does that work? Can you "Test" the connection multiple times with no error? info@mirtheil.com
