I have a monthly report that I run in Crystal Reports that has always worked
until this month when I get and ODBC error. I have tried rewriting the
report and running it from other databases and locations but I still get the
same error. Does anyone know what this
means?

ODBC error:[MERANT][ODBC SQLBase driver]The keywords LEFT OUTER JOIN were
not found in an outer join escape sequence.

That sorely looks like an ODBC pass through error, so either the SQL is invalid, or it's getting passed bad SQL from Crystal, check for a newer or older driver.
