I am trying to link a table to an existing report from a Progress database. I can add the table to the report but when I place a field on my report I get the following error message, "ODBC Error: Merant ODBC Progress Driver, Unable to understand after -- DECLARE. 247" and then "Error detected by database DLL". I added another very similar table successfully.

ODBC Error Linking Tables

A hard one.
Are you sure that the fields you are linking on are the same type? Are you sure that there are matches?
Have you tried a left outer join? Howard Hammerman,
