I want to export some Access tables to an instance of MySQL on localhost. I have tried several times to use Export (right click on the table name and select export, select ODBC from the drop down list). It assumes I want to name my table in the ODBC source the same as the local table which is fine. I click OK. I should get an ODBC dialogue box after that, but I don't.

I went into the ODBC setup through the windows control panel. I added a new System DSN ODBC source ... I set up my MySQL database here. I shouldn't have had to do that, but thought it couldn't hurt.

If anyone can offer insight how to fix the problem and export tables, I would be most appreciative.

Don't know why, but I've had problems using a system DSN... try creating a user DSN instead.
