ODBC Connection to Symposium 6.0 DB

We need to make an ODBC or similar connection into our Symposium 6.0 DB. Can anyone give advice on how this can be done? Thanks.

Look into the beginning of the Historical Reporting and Data Dictionary. There are step by step directions.
