Hi all,

i am have an access database and i need to link in three tables from SQL! i had to develop offline so i had to import the tables into access as apposed to link them. Now the development is finished and i new this would happen i am getting errors with the linked SQL tables. when i open my ASP page i get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] ODBC--connection to 'SQLDB' failed.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem or have any pointers!?? i know the development of mixing SQL and access into one is not the best solution, beleive me it was not much choice!!

Regards,

Roberto

I think that you're going to have to connect to each of them seperately. If you are relying on queries in the Access database that interact with the linked SQL Server tables I suggest that you schedule the creation of local tables based on your queries and get your data from those. The best option though is to get it all into SQL Server.
