Hello,

Forgive my ignorance as I am sure this is an easy one. Have a user sitting at a new computer trying to access a MS Access 97 database on a server via a mapped drive. When attempting to open this message is dispalyed

ODBC - Connection to 'EMSemp' failed. I believe that is a table in the database as the database name is EMS casual scheduler.

I have opened odbcad32 and the driver is there for MS Acess, I have also configured it to look to the database but I still get this error. Can anyone spot what I'm missing?

And the ODBC DSN is defined on the PC you're using? (I'm suspecting "EMSemp" is the DSN name...)

DSN name was exactly it... as soon as I added it and pointed to the SQL server they were good to go.
Thanks for the response.
