sorry, my prior message to u was not finished when i sent it (fat finger syndrome)

i am getting errors when a browser tries to connect to themy data source, the errors are always: Data Access Pages has detected that your IE security settings will not allow you to access data from a site considered to be insecure.

i do want the chart to be publicly veiwed though.

my host winsave.com says that they use odbc connections (no other details of course), i set up the following with them:

beginne0.data1
E:\web\beginne0\\fpdb\rons2003training.mdb

on the fp side, i used the data connection wizard and picked 'ODBC DSN' as my data source and followed the instructions. i got the errors when accessing the graph on the web. also i tried many other data sources....not sure if i configured them correctly and got errors.

i am using megabbs as a discussion forum and it successfully uses the microsoft jet 4.0 ole db provider connection and it works. of course the megabbs program set all this up for me and it does not chart though.

any help? step-by-step in setting up my chart would be great. (i hate being a newbie - why can't i download info into my peanut-sized brain like 'matrix'?)

thanx
