ODBC Connection Error

We just set up a new HP-UX 64-bit server 11.11. with Informix SE 7.25. with SQL 7.31. Same as the old server. A group of workstations on the network connect from windows to the database using ODBC drivers. We are unable to make the connection. This is the error when trying to connect:

[INTERSOLV][ODBC Informix driver]Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed. [INTERSOLV][ODBC Informix driver] Optional feature not implemented. [INTERSOLV][ODBC Informix driver]{Informix driver] Cannot read system catalog (systables). [INTERSOLV][ODBC Informix]ISAM error: Illegal key descriptor (too many parts or too long).

Any help with error would be appreciated

The error sounds like you have ended up with glitches in some indexes. Consider running onchecks to confirm that there is a problem with an index. Try oncheck -- which will show more detail for the command. Once you have identified a problem sourced index, drop and recreate it.

We ended up getting it working by re-installing Informix in a different order.
