ODBC Connection across Domains

This is probably an ODBC connection question but thought I would ask it here.

We have two domains and currently we have to be logged into specific domain to query SQL Server 2000 on one and sql 2008 on the other domain.

Is it possible to create an ODBC connection from one domain to the other so that we can query both databases with out changing domains.

Do not need to link the servers just need to query them independently.
