ODBC connect problem

Hi

We are using informix as the dbms on an Avaya CMS server. Using ODBC we can extract data from tables within the database except one. We get an error message saying:

[OpenLink][ODBC]RPC: Timed out

On another machine we get no problems.
Can anyone shed any light on the cause of this and what action I need to take to open this table up for use.
