Hello,

I am having and ODBC problem in my company. We have an Oracle Server. Clients are Windows NT SP6, with MDAC 2.6, MDAC SP2 and Jet 4. Oracle client is NOT installed on clients. Oracle client is installed on a network resource. We have changed registry parameters on clients to be able to find the "MS ODBC driver for Oracle" on the network resource. We have several applications that use ODBC to access Oracle. Randomly, when a user is using one application and tries to open other different application that uses ODBC to connect to oracle we get error "ODBC: Connection failed". We still can use the application that was open but we are unable to open any other application that connects to Oracle through ODBC. The only way to be able to connect is to close all applications and try again. Sometimes we have to reboot client machine. When we are getting the error if I go to Control Panel, ODBC RESOURCES and I push "configure" button in the corresponding SYSTEM DSN I get error "The setup routines for the Microsoft ODBC for Oracle ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 32". If I go to DRIVERS tab I can see in MICROSOFT ODBC FOR ORACLE columns the string "not marked".

Any idea about what is happening?.
