Software install has corrupted ODBC screen.

Can't add, remove or configure - all greyed out.

Have removed software but too late, damage is done.

Last resort will be format and start again.

Would a repair (as opposed to new install) of XP installation fix it??

Any other ideas?

Thanx in advance.

Do you have any system restore point saved?

A In-Place upgrade (Repair Installation) should do this for you. It reinstalls most of the Windows XP files but leaves all settings relating to other software on the machine. Do to the fact that it leaves some of these settings it may be possible that it will not correct the problem.

Probably asking an obvious question here so i appologise in advance but you are logging in as a user with admin rights aren't you. A limited user would not have the rights to adjust these settings.
