Hi, I am currently using MAS90 Version 3.22 which is feed data by an Access front end.

2 days ago I upgraded from Access 97 to Access 2000.

After doing this I am no longer able to link to the MAS90 table "AR1_CustomerMaster". I receive the following error "Invalid argument.".

I just installed MDAC 2.8 and the latest updates to Jet, but no difference.

If anybody has run into this or something similar I'd love to hear about it.

I don't know the answer, but a question: Are you able to link to other tables?

Can you still link to AR1 using Excel?

Is the linking that cause the problem, or are you able to make the link, just not open the table?

Only suggestion I have is this. On another computer that works, make the link. Then open that db on your machine, and copy it, and past it to your computer. Just a thought.

Ascii dumb question, get a dumb Ansi

Hi, thanks for the reply!

1. Yes, I can link to other tables, go figure, sure it has something to do with the data that I am trying to link to and how Access 2000 handles it as compared to Access 97 handling.

2. I was finally able to go to another machine link to the table in Access 97 > then open my Access 2000 database > import that link > and then move my Access 2000 database back to my machine where I was seeing the problems > and it now works.

Problem resolved. (for now anyway)
