Hi,

I'm trying to use a linked table from Access 2003 to SQL Server 8.0.

It's a link using a ODBC connection, and it worked fine when there were just a few records in the remote table.

Now there are over 2000 records and I'm getting these errors:
"ODBC--call failed"
and
"cannot generate SSPI context"

I think the connection is timing out.

Is there any way of increasing the connection timeout, or improving the speed.

Thanks

open your query in design mode right click on the area where your tables are but not on the table and click properties.
You should now see an ODBC timeout value up this to 400 or higher if your still get a timeout then run the query
