We have a macro which deletes and rebuilds tables with new records. One of the tables is linked via ODBC. Today, the user that runs the macro tells me they received error 3197.
Now, the question is ...if we get an ODBC call failed on one of the tables during the macro, will that show up as error 3197? Thanks

ODBC call failed has many error numbers...the most common I see is 3146, but 3151 (I believe that's Duplicate Key) is fairly common, but there are many others.

The problem is with macros you can't get further error information, whereas in module code you can.

For me, the 3197 error is a concurrency issue.

Hope This Helps, PH.
