I suppose I've got a rather challenging one for you guys. I'm connecting to a Unidata database from Access 2000 via Informix/Ardent's ODBC driver. I link a table, no biggie. I create a query, again, smooth sailing, But when I filter with a user prompt, "between [start date] and [end date]" in the criteria for the field i am trying to filter i get ODBC - call failed. When I go into the design view and manually type the dates ">= #04/01/01#; <= #04/24/01#" no problem. I am creating this for several reports enterprise wide and I dont feel comfortable with the end-user going in the design veiw every time he/she runs a report. Is there another way to do this.
