I am running NT 4.0 sp6a. I use Client Access Express to connect to AS/400. I had to reformat my hard drive due to "Blue Screen" problems and reinstall everything. Most things are working except I cannot use ODBC to import a text file. The message I get is "Link text file. Cannot update. Database or object is read only". The database and object are NOT read only. I have admin rights to everything.
Today I installed MDAC2.6SDK and MS Jet 4.0 SP3 and I still get the errors. I have exhausted all my ideas and would be very grateful for any assistance.
