Hi,
A strange thing is happening:
On Windows 2000 (SP2) we create a Centura SQLbase (v3.50)user DSN and when doing a test connection we can login and we get a successful connection. However, when you go over to the BDE Administrator (v4.00) in order to do some work in Paradox, I cannot seem to connect to the database and it just throws some error about not being able to resolve the hostname. Do I need new SQLbase drivers - where do I download the latest drivers for ODBC?
Also to note... when logged into the machine with admin rights I seem to be able to do the business, but this is not ideal if joe user needs to connect at ordinary user permissions. any ideas??
thanks
