Octel VM

Is connecting to Octel the same as Mermail in procomm.
Do you type AX at the prompt. I am new to octel so can anyone tell what to do to connect

You will need a seperate dedicated modem connected directly to the Octel'serial port.

no you dont AX you will have a connection to Octel when you hit enter you get a menu to enter your password

HyperTerminal does not emulate Wyse. You will need to use Procomm or some other Wyse Terminal emulator. You can set/see your baud rate in menu 6.3.
