I have an Aria 03.10.09-1 Octel 250. Term emul Wyse 50. When I run reports (short form) it is asking me if I want to save the file as an .XPS file. No other option is given. I am trying to figure out if this is an Octel thing going on with the Wyse emul or my PC is going all Bill Gates on me.

If I capture the file it isn't clean as it's 132 cols. trying to fit on 80 col paper. I can change emuls to VT100 and Wyse 100 and it simply scrolls the reports across the screen. If I set Procomm for 132 cols and have a cap file running I am good to go. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour. This XPS format is supposed to be some Windows next-gen to replace pdf files.thx for any inf

Must be your default printer on your PC. Do you have office 2007 installed?

Try changing your emulation to TVI920 and see if you can fit it to the screen set for 132. At tvi920 it will print to the screen.

Thanks Ken, Yes my default printer was set for Microsoft XPS. Apparently the WYSE emulation sends a local print command to the PC when dialed in remote. I changed my default printer to PDF and it works the same way but then the page format can be changed for 132 cols.
