One of our cards went bad. We are in search of the following card. So far our vendor cannot get us this card.

It is called LIC8E, part number is 300-6032-02.

I've been told that the NPIC16 might work as well, but we prefer to replace with the same card.

The 300-6032-002 is the 8-Port analog card for the UK. I assume you have a Nortel switch if you are talking about the NPIC card. That card emulates a 2616 type of phone so it isn't a direct replacement. You would also need to have PIC licenses turned on with the NPIC16. You could also possibly use an 300-6054-002 DLC-16E which is a 16-port analog card for the UK. With the DLC-16E card you would need to have DSP licenses turned on.

Unless price isn't a factor, I would check to see what the cost difference is between using the NPIC 16 and the DLC-16E.

I know that the company I work for has DLC-16E's in stock, so I assume that they are probably more commonly available card than the 8E card.
