Could someone tell me the approximate cost and steps to place an Octel on the network so we can administer over IP instead of analog. I'm assuming if you administer over IP you can simultaneous connections? Is there other way to have simultaneous connections?

Thank You!

Apologies not used to working with Octel's. What menu option would give me this information?

Ok on a 250 or a 350 you can not use the LAN card to administer the system. The only way short of writing your own program is to use telnet server like the uds10. It will convert the rs232 to IP and then you can use ProComm to telnet into the Octel.

Can you have multiple simultaneous connections so more than one person can access teh system?

Thank you for your help!

Only if you have multiple telnet servers on the system. You can only have a total of 3 if you are not using RS 232 for the PBX
